Jules is a Partner in the Commercial group.

Having joined the firm in 2012 as a Trainee, Jules advises clients on commercial and corporate work in a number of areas with particular expertise in the audiovisual sector.

Jules is an experienced film and television lawyer across a variety of genres and platforms (both traditional and new media). She regularly advises producers and other content creators on the full range of audio-visual productions (both scripted and non-scripted) from development, production, and financing, through to the distribution and exploitation of content. In addition to advising production companies and rights holders, Jules has strong experience working with financiers on all aspects of both film and television financing.

Before converting to law, Jules completed a Master's in Television Journalism and has experience working for television companies in England and Germany. She has in-house experience having undertaken a three-month secondment at Lionsgate and a secondment at The Blair Partnership/Pottermore during her time at Simkins. Jules currently serves on the board of Animated Women UK, a non-profit that aims to encourage and support women in the animation and VFX industries.

She speaks fluent German and is a member of Women in Film & Television regularly holding seminars for its producer members.
