Susan is a highly experienced employment lawyer with over 25 years’ experience specialising in employment law. She qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and has since practised exclusively in employment law.
Susan’s practice covers working with both employers and senior individuals in all areas of employment law (including partnership disputes) in the Employment Tribunals and High Court. She has particular expertise in advising on collective redundancies and TUPE, and bringing and defending discrimination and whistleblowing claims. Susan also regularly advises employers on day to day HR issues and employees on termination of employment and severance terms.
Susan’s clients include major PLCs and SMEs. She has also represented senior individuals, including partners in city law firms and accounting practices, and senior executives in the financial services sector and industry. Clients say she provides “pragmatic no nonsense solutions to their issues.”

Susan is often asked to comment on developments in employment law by news agencies, including the Financial Times and the Evening Standard. She was also closely involved in a BBC production on sex discrimination in the City.
