Michal Stepniak

Associate

Michal joined the Family team as an Associate from Vardags in April 2025.

Michal is experienced in all aspects of family law, including high and ultra-high net worth financial remedy proceedings. He also has expertise in dealing with complex foreign elements including securing jurisdiction in the country best suited to each client. Michal has advised on pre and post nuptial agreements, disputes regarding beneficial interests in family homes, non-molestation applications, as well as disputes in relation to child arrangements including relocation and specific issue applications.

Michal has a particular interest in, and expertise with, professionals from the technology and private banking sectors and the complexities in assets and income that are borne out of those fields.

Michal read Law at the University of York and went on to complete the LPC at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. Whilst at university, Michal was Vice Chair of the Eliminating Domestic Abuse Society and student representative of the University of York Law Clinic.
