Associate

Alanis is an Associate in the Employment team and joined the firm in September 2026.

Alanis advises both employees and employers on a broad range of employment law matters, spanning both contentious and non-contentious issues. She supports clients throughout the employment relationship, from day-to-day HR advice and contractual matters to workplace disputes, grievances, disciplinary processes and settlement agreement negotiations.

Alanis also has experience in Employment Tribunal litigation, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. She has also assisted with High Court proceedings.

Alanis builds strong client relationships and provides clear, practical advice, helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions.

Alanis trained and qualified at a top-tier regional firm, where she focused her training contract on employment law. She graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Anthropology before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course LLM at the University of Law.
