Simkins ranked highly in Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2026
We are delighted to announce that Simkins has once again been recognised in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide, with our Reputation team retaining its Band 2 ranking and five of our lawyers individually recognised for their expertise, including two new rankings this year.
In Defamation/Reputation Management, Partner Gideon Benaim has once again been ranked Band 1, the Guide's highest tier. Chambers describes Gideon as "a first-class lawyer unrivalled in many areas" and "a real authority in his field".
Partner Jon Oakley also retains his Band 3 ranking, with Chambers noting that he is an "excellent lawyer and is always calm in a crisis".
The continued recognition of the Reputation team, which has once again secured a Band 2 ranking, reflects the depth of expertise within Simkins' Reputation practice and its established standing in the market for advising clients on complex and sensitive reputational matters. Chambers praises the team for being "the ideal partner in high-stakes situations" and the "go-to adviser on pre-action correspondence and advice for clients on media situations", adding that they are "collegiate and proactive, working seamlessly with other advisers to deliver the best possible results for clients".
In our Divorce and Family department, Partner Deborah Jeff has been recognised for the first time in the Guide for Family/Matrimonial Finance, while Partner Flora Grossman has retained her ranking. Deborah is praised for being "an exceptionally experienced and empathetic lawyer" who works "phenomenally hard", with clients noting that she has "a strong ability to manage complex issues" and is "calm, reassuring and grounded".
Chambers describes Flora as "hugely able, very experienced and immensely personable", noting that she has "a fantastic way with clients" and "a great sense of humour in demanding circumstances".
Oliver Sharp, who was promoted to Partner in April, has been ranked for the first time in this year's Guide, recognised under Private Wealth Law. Chambers describes Oliver as being "client-focused", "efficient" and "very technically able", noting that he "gives excellent advice" and "is depended upon for timely decisions".
