Simkins FC participated in the ReachOut Charity Cup

Simkins FC recently participated in the ReachOut Charity Cup. The team got off to a shaky start in their first game falling 3-1 behind, but managed to secure a dramatic comeback making it 3-3 with the last kick of the game.

This good form continued with the team winning the remainder of their group games, going through to the knockout stages undefeated and top of the group. This was largely due to robust defensive display from Kolujo, Andrew and Bryn with goals coming from Ned, Stephen and Charlie.

Unfortunately, the team went on to narrowly lose in the semi-final – to the eventual winners of the tournament. Many thanks to ReachOut for inviting us and for hosting such a great event, we look forward to next year!
