Nick Eziefula interviewed on the Jeremy Vine show about copyright infringement on social media

Partner Nick Eziefula was interviewed on BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine show about copyright infringement on social media.
Nick explained how using someone's copyright material on social media without their permission is typically an infringement of their intellectual property rights, but that, while most social media platforms do have reporting systems in place for users, there is often a long backlog and report decisions can be very slow.
Nick also discussed how modern technology and social media platforms make it easier than ever to copy and share content, with such widespread sharing sometimes being the goal of the platform or content creator. However, he notes that it becomes problematic when sharing without permission takes away from the value of the content's original creator.
Nick was interviewed on BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine show, 10 September 2025, which can be found here. Nick's segment begins at 34:50.
