News Printer friendly page MSLLP recovers training compensation award for African Football Club before Court of Arbitration for Sport Date: 22/05/2006 Michael Simkins LLP has successfully represented a Kenyan Premier League Football Club before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne. The case involved  an appeal against the decision of the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) in respect of the amount of training compensation awarded upon the transfer of a former player to a Club in Qatar.  As such,  the appeal centred upon the correct application of the relevant FIFA Regulations - primarily in so far as they relate to transfers of players between Clubs outside of the EU.
