Stuart is a corporate and commercial lawyer, with a particular interest in advising clients working in the media, entertainment, technology and creative industries.

He advises on a wide variety of corporate transactions and advisory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, shareholders agreements, LLP and partnership arrangements, employee incentives and general company law advisory work.

Stuart also has a wide range of experience advising on commercial and intellectual property matters, particularly in relation to the media and entertainment, advertising and hospitality sectors, including global services agreements, copyright licensing agreements, digital distribution arrangements, merchandise licensing, physical manufacturing and distribution agreements, hospitality operations agreements, data protection policies and e-commerce sales terms.

Prior to joining Simkins as a Partner in 2020, Stuart worked as a Senior Director of Legal & Business Affairs at Warner Music Group, before which he was an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial group at Simkins and an Associate in the Corporate team at City law firm, Addleshaw Goddard.
